The contractor will begin work in the roadway as early as next week, starting with a lane shift on Dana Street. They will then shift to Nipomo Street and work their way toward Palm Street. This initial phase of road work will involve installing dry utilities infrastructure as we work toward undergrounding overhead utility lines in the corridor.
Installation of wet utilities will follow with the need for night work with road closures from 8 pm to 7 am due to the location of the utilities in the road. We believe that conducting this work at night will help minimize the impact on the community.
